Sometimes moving to a 'nicer' area as you say, often means there is a higher risk of burglary and car theft for the 'rick pickings'. Different risks carry different weightings at different times, and it is probably unfortunate that your rating, along with risk factors at that time, mean that your premium increased. Almost everyone gets a charge for any adjustments if they were mid-term.
In contract however, but for a different reason (I had a claim with Hastings Direct) I found the call centre extremely helpful and put my mind at rest immediately when worried about my car claim. Everything was taken care off, I didn't even have to dig for information like I have had to do in the past. The polite young lady explained everything I needed to know. Excellent service. Highly recommended and my renewal premium was competitive!

If you're using Twitter as a strategy to get a following of influencers, make sure that you've actually posted something meaningful and on topic recently and a reasonable amount of it. The twit spammers are going a poor job at the moment. One crap post then follow everyone under the sun.
I've also started being followed by a few Republican loons of late. Probably because I mentioned Obama in a post. They are scary people.

David,

Thanks a lot for the mention (that's the prodigious blogger and independent writer speaking) :-) It is interesting that you say that the hotel is not to be found as yet. I searched on Google.com for "yang sing oriental", and the website www.yangsingoriental.com does come up on the 1st page. Now, you search on Google.co.uk, and the result is at the bottom of the 2nd page, plus the domain is without the "www". So, clearly there is an issue, but hopefully this gets sorted, as you say.
